Plitvice Lakes National Park is the oldest and most famous park in Croatia and among the most famous in Europe. With its 96 waterfalls and 16 lakes in the catchment area of the Korana River, and a multitude of tributaries and streams, it is a wonderful and huge complex of forests and natural diversity. Declared in 1949, it is the oldest national park in Croatia that has also been registered on UNESCO's World Heritage List since 1979. The park covers 30 000 hectares of which 200 hectares are covered by lakes. Travertine barriers created by the waterfalls are a living organism that builds up over several millennia and its current configuration has been made over a period of 15 000 years.

We will take you on a walking tour of the waterfalls across wooden bridges and footpaths through breath-taking landscapes. Then we will board a small tourist train and an electric boat to cross the biggest lake called Kozjak.
