PROGRAMME
based on 7 days with an extra schedule during which you will see:
Krka National Park – Falcon Centre
Departure by bus towards one of the most beautiful nature sights in Croatia, Krka National Park, named after the Krka River that encloses the park. It is located along the lower-middle waterway of the Krka River in central Dalmatia, in Šibenik-Knin County, just downstream from the Miljevci area, and a few kilometres northeast of Šibenik. The park was formed in order to protect the Krka River and is primarily intended for scientific, cultural, educational, recreational, and tourism activities. It is the seventh national park in Croatia and it was proclaimed as such in 1985. Take a walk through the park while learning about flora and fauna. Have lunch in a restaurant within the park. After that, head towards the nearby Dubrava village and visit the FALCON CENTRE, the only shelter and hospital for birds of prey in this part of Europe. The show performed by our hosts includes owls and falcons. This is an interactive and instructive experience, and you will never forget the things you learn here. After the end of the trip you have a 2 hour long group training with 2-4 players.
Paklenica National Park
After breakfast we take you on a drive along the coast towards the PAKLENICA NATIONAL PARK, a paradise for climbers and hikers. Upon arrival, visit the main building and read the introduction to the park on the panels. We continue by bus towards the park’s entrance where we meet up with the park’s official guide. Walk across numerous paths and learn about vegetation on this part of the VELEBIT Mountain. Take a stroll towards ANIĆA LUKE and ANIĆA KUKA with extraordinary karst features. After a great morning in this national park, we head back to Biograd where you have some free time and group training in the evening.
Kornati National Park
After breakfast we go sailing on our private boat around Kornati National Park – a set of islands with the most beautiful scenery. While sailing across the gorgeous Adriatic Sea, enjoy the sights of the islands of this national park and go for a swim. Lunch is served on board or on the island, menu is made according to personal wishes, and swimming is also scheduled… During the evening you have training.
Plitvice National Park
After breakfast we drive toward Croatian heartland in order to visit the Plitvice Lakes National Park – one of the greatest natural wonders and phenomenons of the world. Sixteen beautiful interconnected lakes of azure crystal-clear water are hiding surrounded by high forest mountains. The lakes are fed by numerous rivers and streams and interconnected with foaming cascades and thundering waterfalls. Over time, waters of these lakes have dissolved the limestone rock and carved out the valley in which they now lie. Plitvice Lakes were declared as a national park in 1949 and since 1979 they have been on UNESCO’s list of World Natural Heritage. After 3 hours of walking, boat cruising and electric train driving, have lunch in a nearby restaurant. This is a day without training.
